The GSM/GPRS module offers a better management of vehicle data and in case of error remote diagnosis and troubleshooting is possible. The system bases upon: GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), GPS (Global Position System). Altogether they offer the registration, storage and exchange of operation and position data via mobile net or internet.

real time clock components: by means of the real time clock an ultra-low-power mode can be activated, the module can be set in a sleep mode (micro-processor and GSM-module are completely turned off) and can be woken up in a programmable time period. After the module has been woken up it monitors the measurement data, exchanges data if necessary and sets itself in sleep mode again
